Take the amphibious castle ferry across to the castle or walk out along the causeway at low tide and you'll discover Elizabeth Castle is the perfect place to spend a day exploring Jersey's history. Climb the battlements that date back to the 1590s, explore the grounds that gave refuge to King Charles II during the English Civil War and uncover the bunkers which were re-fortified during WWII.
