Awards have also been dished out to the hotel’s 2 AA Rosette restaurant, which is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and where appetising food is expertly cooked and served by friendly staff. Visit the elegant bar where you can make yourself at home in a corner with a beer and a book or pick a tipple or two from the selection of wines and spirits. Another welcoming sanctuary is the snug lounge, where you can put your feet up with a local ale, mellow whisky or fine wine and perhaps treat yourself to a bite to eat.

Upgraded room categories include garden view rooms, which are in both the east and west wings. These are also available with either king or twin beds and, as the name suggests, they look out to the gardens. Superior rooms have plenty of space in which to relax with a lounge area, sumptuous super king or twin beds and bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Superior plus rooms also have bags of comfort along with a seating area, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and French doors opening to the garden and pool. The colourful Killiecrankie suite sits on the top floor and gives you a bedroom, separate lounge & dining area along with a truly lavish bathroom with roll top bath and walk-in shower.
